École Nationale Supérieure des Technologies et Industries du Bois, located in Épinal in the Vosges, is the only major French public school entirely dedicated to training engineers for the wood and bio-based materials industries.
A component of the Université de Lorraine, it offers a multi-disciplinary training program combining wood science, mechanics, composite materials, chemistry and process engineering, with a strong practical dimension thanks to internships, projects and industrial collaborations.
ENSTIB plays a key role in the ecological transition, training engineers capable of innovating in the construction, energy, landscaping and bio-economy sectors, while promoting the responsible and sustainable use of wood, a strategic material for the future.
